Hi, I'm Tanya.

There is something about photography that has always fascinated me: its ability to keep moments that would otherwise be lost among memories. A look, a spontaneous smile, a gesture of affection, or that expression that appears when someone forgets there is a camera in front of them.

It is those small details that interest me most. The ones that may go unnoticed in the moment, but that gain a special value over the years.

The Costa Brava is the setting for much of my work. I am inspired by its light, the sea, its quiet corners and that beauty that needs very little to be noticed. I like natural spaces, but also the intimacy of a home or any place where a person feels genuinely comfortable.

For me, a good photograph does not have to be perfect. It has to make you feel something.

When someone stands in front of my camera, I am not looking for them to play a role or become a different version of themselves. I am interested in getting to know that person a little, discovering the way they move, the way they look and the way they relate to those around them.

I know that not everyone feels comfortable being photographed, and that is completely normal. You do not need to know how to pose or have any experience. The idea is that you can relax, enjoy the moment and, little by little, forget that we are taking photographs.

I especially like portraying women and accompanying them through important moments in their lives, such as motherhood. I am also moved by photographing family bonds, the closeness between two people and those everyday instants that we often do not think of keeping.

Every person and every story is different. That is why I do not believe all sessions should be the same.

In the end, what I want is that, when you look at your photographs again some years from now, you do not only see how you looked or where you were. That you can remember how you felt, recognise something of yourself and return, even for an instant, to that moment.

That is what I look for with my photography.
