Photography in Blanes

Capturing moments in Blanes

Blanes marks the southern gateway to the Costa Brava, a town of botanical gardens, long golden beaches, and a working harbour that gives it an honest, lived-in character. For photographers it is a gift: the gardens of Marimurtra and Pinya de Rosa hang over the sea with cacti, cypress, and Mediterranean colour, while the camí de ronda climbs toward Sant Joan castle with views along the whole coast.

A session here can be as varied as the town itself. We might begin among the sculpted terraces of a garden, move to the beach in the warm afternoon light, and finish with your family on the pine-shaded headland above the sea. The mix of cultivated and wild makes Blanes endlessly photogenic without ever feeling posed.

Choosing a fotógrafa en Blanes means flexible planning, calm direction, and images that hold both the elegance of the gardens and the easy warmth of the coast. It is one of my favourite towns to work in, and close enough to Lloret to share an afternoon comfortably.

Practical notes

  • Marimurtra closes early, so I plan garden shots for the morning or mid-afternoon.
  • The headland path is a great second location for sunset after the beach.
  • Blanes is the first town on the Costa Brava coming from Barcelona, ideal en route.
